At one point in history there was no “animate” existence, or at least what seems to be “intelligent animation”. Of course the clouds still moved and the tides still came in, which can be considered animation, right?
Right?
What does intelligent animation mean, then?
Almost any definition of the word “intelligent” implies on some level an employment of that most sacred aspect of existence which we call “Dynamic Will Power” (DWP). The only genre of definition which hints at a purely “mathematical” or Static Laws of Physics (SLP) approach is “higher order, capable of thought.”
Think higher order processes and refer to discussion in GUT on thermal energy.
I would also like to discuss nucleosynthesis and the fact that we all come from stars, and very small parts of stars for that matter.
I would also like to explore my hypothesis that in order for us beings to be able to conduct (in the electric current, or brain wave current sense of the word “conduct”) more in harmony with the universe, we should be ingesting a diet with a chemical structure more similar to that of stars, perhaps only a TINY BIT more similar…. but the earth is limited in its chemical composition. Talk to a chemist and biologist. Aunt Dorothy?
